Arcadia Nature Sanctuary

When we first moved to Easthampton we lived in the Eastworks building. Walking to Arcadia Nature Sanctuary was one of the first rhythms we found as we settled into our new surroundings.

I ended up working at the Arcadia Summer camp and preschool until I had our kiddo. Once I became a parent those trails and woods became our own backyard adventure.

Up and down roller coaster hill. Counting the shag bark hickory on the way to the lookout tower. Getting lost in the rabbit maze. Playing ship captain in the “big” blue boat. Nowadays, with a 9 year old instead of a toddler we head over for the River Valley Music Festival and enjoy tasty treats from local foodies.
